We went out to watch the Head of the Hooch Saturday. Weather was perfect. Even though I don't know anything about rowing, it is very entertaining to go and see them race. This is the second largest race, behind Head of the Charles, in America. Enjoy the pics.

Is this event held on a lake? Is it the big one we see as we enter town?
It is held on the Tennessee River. M calls it the Tennessee Lake. Did you know that? They start at Ross's Landing (in front of the aquarium) and go up the river (away from Lookout Mtn.) then turn around and come back to finish at Ross's Landing. See if this link works:
